Within the walls of his native Alma mater, the outstanding historian, professor of the Department of Ukrainian History at Harvard University met with the rector of the university and students of the Oles Honchar National University of Dnipropetrovsk.

During the meeting, he spoke about current trends in research, answered exciting questions, and also signed books and gladly took pictures with young applicants.

Serhiy Plokhiy is a vivid example of how Ukrainian education and hard work open the door to world science. Such meetings inspire and prove that ambition, knowledge and love for one's work are the key to great achievements!
