He graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State University in 1997 with a degree in Political Science. He was awarded the qualification of political scientist, teacher of social sciences and humanities. Since 2012 he has been a Candidate of Political Science in the specialty 23.00.01 - Theory and History of Political Science. He defended his dissertation on October 27, 2011 in the specialized scientific council D 08.051.08 of Oles Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University.

Since 2009 he has been working at the Department of International Relations of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. The academic title of Associate Professor of International Relations was awarded on June 29, 2021.
